Sorry, currently all Bliss Bites products contain nuts. For a full list of allergens please see the flavours page.
Yes! All Bliss Bites are made with vegan friendly ingredients.
Most of my ingredients come from 1 supplier and as they handle products containing milk they add the disclaimer 'may contain traces of milk' to their ingredients packaging, therefore this is included on all Bliss Bites allergen labels.
People with a dairy allergy should be aware that there is dairy in my kitchen - it's stored separately to Bliss Bites ingredients and dairy products are not consumed or prepared on production days. Separate equipment is also used - the equipment used to make Bliss Bites is kept separately and is not used to prepare foods containing dairy. For more information please feel free to get in touch.
Yes! All Bliss Bites are made with naturally gluten free ingredients.

The dried apple used in the Pecan Apple ball is packed in a factory that handles gluten therefore the allergen label for this flavour states the disclaimer 'may contain traces of cereals containing gluten'.

Bliss Bites should be stored in the fridge however it's recommended they're brought to room temperature (around 30 minutes) out of the fridge before eating, this is particularly important the closer they reach their best before date to ensure they soften up.
The only exception to this is the 'Bounti flavour bar which must be eaten straight from the fridge due to the topping going very soft very quickly.
When stored in the fridge they will stay yummy for 3-10 weeks (varies depending on the flavour and packaging used), however please do remember to take them out of the fridge for around 30-45 minutes to soften before eating. This is particularly important the closer they reach their best before date to ensure they soften up.
The only exception to this is the 'Bounti' flavour bar which must be eaten straight from the fridge due to the topping going very soft very quickly.
Yes - all flavours apart from the 'Bounti' flavour bar* will be absolutely fine, just keep them away from hot environments such as direct sunlight and heaters or they'll get a bit squidgy. Storing them in the fridge preserves their shelf life and a few hours out of the fridge until you're ready to eat them is perfectly ok. All ingredients used are low risk, so there's no safety issue with your Bliss Bites having time out of the fridge.
* The topping on the 'Bounti' flavour bar goes soft very easily so has to be eaten straight from the fridge.
Yes! They freeze really well for up to 3 months - defrost in the fridge for 30-45 minutes before bringing to room temperature and eating.
The only exception is the Blueberry Lemon flavour. Frozen blueberries are used in this flavour (they give a better flavour and colour) therefore they can't be refrozen.
Absolutely! Bliss Bites are a delicious, filling, energy boosting snack that can be enjoyed guilt free!
Containing only 100% natural ingredients they are packed with nutrient dense, healthy whole foods. Bliss Bites are significantly lower in calories and saturated fat (bad fats) than processed foods that are full of empty calories and have low nutritional benefit.
Calories, saturated fat, macronutrients information and comparisons against unhealthy alternatives can be found on the Bliss Bites Instagram profile page in the 'Calorie Comparison' highlight https://www.instagram.com/bliss_bites_scotland/
Both the bars and balls are significantly healthier than chocolates, sweets, cakes and biscuits as they contain only 100% natural ingredients that are healthy and nutrient dense. However the bars are generally more indulgent due to some of the ingredients used (the vegan coconut sugar chocolate which is predominantly used on the bars, and some contain coconut oil - both which increase the saturated fat content) so if you're looking for the healthiest option then the balls are best for you.
Calorie, saturated fat, macronutrients information and comparisons against unhealthy alternatives can be found on the Bliss Bites Instagram profile page in the 'Calorie Comparison' highlight https://www.instagram.com/bliss_bites_scotland/
Bliss Bites are refined sugar free (free from the processed, addictive sugar) and are sweetened mainly with medjool dates. Some contain other dried or freeze dried fruits including freeze dried raspberries, strawberries and blueberries, dried apple or raisins.
Pure maple syrup and pure vanilla extract is used in small quantities in some flavours and vegan coconut sugar chocolate is used in some recipes (coconut sugar is not processed/refined).
These are all 100% natural ingredients with a strong nutrient profile however while these natural ingredients are significantly better than refined sugars, they contain natural sugars which should still be consumed in moderation. A full list of ingredients can be found on the flavours and order page.
I'm unable to give advice on this as I'm not medically trained and each person's condition is specific to them. I've had people with diabetes contact me and after hearing more about the ingredients and quantities they've bought Bliss Bites and and have enjoyed them in quantities they feel comfortable with, and I've had people opt not to buy them. A breakdown of macronutrients, including carbs, can be found on the Bliss Bites Instagram profile page in the 'Calorie Comparison' highlight. https://www.instagram.com/bliss_bites_scotland/

Each ball weighs 20g and the bars weigh around 89g (as they're hand made and cut the weight for the bars is an average weight).
Bliss Bites are packed full of filling, nutrient dense, healthy ingredients therefore a little goes a long way!
One bar is 2-4 portions however lots of people find cutting a bar into 6 or even 8 is enough to satisfy their sweet tooth.
One or 2 balls at a time is enough for most people.
All packaging used for Bliss Bites (collection and post) is fully compostable or recyclable. Even the labels are compostable and the icepacks used to keep postal orders cool are non toxic, eco friendly and reusable. For more details on the specific materials please feel free to get in touch.
As everything is freshly, hand made to order, I only have capacity to make a small selection of flavours each week, therefore can't take orders for flavours that aren't on the weekly menu. The flavours rotate every week with the new menu is released every Thursday. If you want to be the first to see the flavours on the new weekly menu, just sign up to my newsletter.
If you've missed the order deadline or Bliss Bites have sold out for that week, keep an eye on the Bliss Bites page on Instagram and Facebook - I often have a limited number of balls and/or bars left and will advertise them on the story and profile page. Follow/like the Bliss Bite page on your preferred social media platform to keep up to date what's available.
A new menu comes out every Thursday but if you want to be the first to see the flavours on the new weekly menu, just sign up to my newsletter.
Of course! But as an occasional treat.
I used to eat chocolate most days, often multiple bars at a time as I find refined sugar very addictive!
Since I started making Bliss Bites I can go weeks without having chocolate, I'm much less drawn to it as I don't really like how it makes me feel. I don't like the sugar crash afterwards and really notice the sugar on my teeth so I always have a stash of Bliss Bites in the fridge for when my sweet craving kicks in.
The packaging used to wrap the Bliss Bites sent by post is more expensive and wrapping them is more labour intensive. There's also a postal packaging cost which has been spread across the price of the postal packs. If your order is less than £35 then some of this cost is also attributed to the P&P cost applied at checkout. Every order is packaged in fully recyclable protective packaging to ensure the quality of each order is protected in transit (double walled box, paper bubble wrap, paper filla paper, paper tape and a non toxic, eco friendly, reusable ice pack).
